Typical Properties

Overview

Modified thermoplastic vinyl inks that are suitable for gravure printing and certain spray applications. They are available in base colors or shaded to specific color copy and are well-suited for floorcovering and wallcovering applications.

Plastoprint inks are designed for vinyl, gelled plastisol, Tyvek®, paper and foil. They are specially formulated for the gravure process.

Proper Handling and Storage

Plastoprint coatings have a six month shelf life in a closed container, when stored between 50-90° F.

These products should be mixed before each use.

Dilutable with esters and ketones.

Slow drying time with propylene glycol ethers.

Not for heat resistant applications.

Not for flexographic printing due to high ester content.
