Typical Properties

Overview

Water-based inks that are based on renewable, natural, bio-derived resources. They offer superior printablilty on a variety of paper and paperboard products. They are designed for flexographic and rotogravure presses and are suitable for Tyvek® applications with specific formulation. They have excellent resolubility, water-resistance, adhesion and scuff. They can be formulated for superior heat and rub resistance, and are available in base colors or shaded to specific color copy.

Aquatite inks are designed for a variety of paper, paperboard, and Tyvek®. They are not suitable for direct corrugation.

Proper Handling and Storage

Bioflex coatings have a six month shelf life in a closed container, when stored between 50-90° F. Protect from freezing.

These products should be mixed thoroughly before each use.

Clean-up aided by spray detergent.

Slow drying time with small percentage of glycol ethers.

Maintain pH 8.5-9.0 for optimum printability
